Dear Friends, Great Souls,
It seems I haven't had much time for emailing news recently, althoughthere's been plenty going on. While I was in California at the ExpandingLight I was going on home hospice visits with Eliza one of the hospice nurses - and also a disciple of Yogananda. What amazing experiences we had, seeing people courageously facing the dying process, the ultimate challenge. And especially seeing them come to a point of peace of "letting go", when they stopped needing to cling to control of what was happening. And we saw their relatives being unconditionally and lovingly supportive. We had one experience where both me and Eliza AND the patient too, felt the presence of God and the Masters. Such Peace!! One question... Why do some people wait until they are dying to let go? Why not let go today if you have not already done so. As far as I can see, when you really think about it, we are in control of absolutely nothing - even though we might try and kid ourselves on that we are in control. Peace is here, now - and all we need to do is relax, "let go", and trust. Try it. Take a deep breath in. Exhale...and as you exhale just think "letting go". |

Inspire Scotland took place last weekend. A gathering of people to hear inspirational speakers from Scotland, England and America. One of the highlights was Chris Bliss, an American philosophical comedian, who finished his presentation with THE most amazing juggling act I have ever seen. The juiciest bit of info from him - We have to ask the right questions. Government and industry and the media are very good at giving answers to the wrong questions. So are many institutions and so are some people (just think about it for a few moments). Misinformation enables them to keep power. Sometimes people throw immense resources with the utmost accuracy at the wrong target - for example the "war" against cancer (see Phillip Day's book "Cancer: Why we're Dying to Know the Truth". It is our responsibility to bring people back to the right questions. |

The Healing BookRequests for healing. We accept requests for healing which are cascaded via email to healers around the world. If you would like to make a healing request please email us with the person's name, location and problem. Sayings of Paramahansa Yogananda: "The moon’s reflection cannot be seen clearly in ruffled water, but when the water’s surface is calm a perfect reflection of the moon appears. So with the mind: when it is calm you see clearly reflected the mooned face of the soul." "Through yoga meditation we can know that we are gods." |

This is a story about my mum. I shared this story at a recent workshop and everybody had a good laugh - so I thought maybe it would be a good story to share with you. I used to blame my mum for all my troubles - well only till I was about 46 years old. It was because she didn't really show much emotion - she was very practical you see - that I didn't really learn to express emotions very easily. I used to deal with life logically - I lived in my logical brain. So it was my mum's fault of course that my marriage didn't work out and that I had depression in the early 1990s. But that was before I discovered Kinesiology and Yoga and Angels and all those other beliefs which now inform my life. |

Louise and I returned from the Kinesiology Conference and from a study day with Gary Craig (who developed the Emotional Freedom Technique). So there were a few messages on the ansaphone. But shortly thereafter I noticed that the ansaphone was not recording messages and so we were missing enquiries (apologies if any of you did not receive a reply). It was really quite frustrating . I tried re-recording the message and resetting it but the ansaphone still didn't work. I couldn't find the receipt (it wasn't that old) nor the instruction book - but it's really simple to operate. (Remember that phrase - "It's really simple to operate"!!!) |

Well I returned from Ananda Assisi with a few more amusing memories and lessons. I went to further my studies and connection with the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda - including lots of yoga and meditation. And I was sharing a room with 2 other gents who were Italian - and who didn't speak much English. I think it's always an education being with people you don't know and learning to appreciate their ways... Will they go to bed at the same time as me...will they snore... be up during the night....? Since we were all up at 6am for yoga and meditation we all tended to go to bed fairly early. Pascuale is a man in his late 40s and looked a bit stressed. Silvano is in his 30s and is rather quiet.. |
