And here I am at the computer when I had planned to be in America for 4 weeks becoming a Yoga teacher at the Ananda Expanding Light Centre in California.  And what stopped me going?  I pulled a muscle in my derriere.  How did I do it?  Sitting in a chair and crossing my left leg over my right leg.  So after 3 days of physio, Bowen, and Arnica I am able to touch my toes again but know that I could not fully participate in the course and now plan (!! )to go in June.  We'll see what happens (I think that is one of my favourite expressions).

So I was looking at a Richard Carlsson book the other day as I hobbled around East Kilbride.  I think it was called And What If It Is BIG Stuff?  I noticed a section where he suggested that life really is easy - it's just the picking and choosing that is sometimes hard.  And that was my experience too.  Whilst I was undecided - will I make it / will I be fit enough / will I manage the plane journey etc - it caused me some distress.  However once I had made the decision, once I had cancelled the flights, once I had decided to go to America another day, a load shifted off my shoulders.  Whether it's about getting out of bed in the morning to meditate, or buying a new car, it seems that sometimes the challenge is in simply making up one's mind.  Once the choice is made Life can flow through us.  Am I the only one that finds that making a decision makes life easier?  Or is this your experience too?

Much Love

Stan
