Dr David R. Hamilton  PhD  gained a First Class Honours Degree in Biological and Medicinal Chemistry and a Ph.D. in organic chemistry before embarking on a career within the pharmaceutical industry where he developed drugs for cancer.

He left the industry in 1999 to carry out research into the science of healing, where he embraced both alternative and conventional medicine. He established his company “New Awakenings” to promote spiritual values in business, working with such prestigious companies as Price Waterhouse Cooper. David founded the charity Spirit Aid which continues to help children around the world. He has recently published his first book, "Its the Thought that Counts" that describes the role of thought and emotion in the creation and cure of disease.

David lectures all over the UK on The Science of Healing and Mind-Body Medicine,
and has recently returned from a lecture tour of California.

Stan Giles RGN, KFRP, BTAA has beeen a nurse for more than 30 years and for the last 10 years has been immersed in the study and practice of energy medicine.  He has qualifications in Kinesiology, EFT, NLP, Bowen Therapy, Reiki and Sekhem and has studied many other modalities and esoteric practices. He is also a firewalk instructor / facilitator and is the only teacher of Ananda Yoga in Scotland. He teaches TFH and EFT and, with his partner Louise, hosts other workshops from their home and healing centre near Glasgow – Optimum Health Yoga, Therapies and Training.  He is founder and director of the Essential Healing Course.
